Governor Patrick Morrisey and Tourism Secretary Kayla Kessinger unveiled Mountain Moves at Oak Hill Middle School, presenting the new educational board game to West Virginia history teachers.
Inspired by the Game of Life, the game combines trivia, strategy, and career exploration for two to six players. Students receive careers connected to the tourism industry and advance by answering questions about West Virginia history, communities, parks, rivers, and attractions.
The state plans to distribute the game to West Virginia history teachers in the coming months as a classroom resource for eighth-grade students.
