Morrisey reports continued progress in flood recovery

Governor Patrick Morrisey provided an update on West Virginia's recovery from severe flooding, crediting first responders, state agencies, local officials, volunteers, and utility crews.

The response deployed more than 200 personnel and dozens of vehicles, while cleanup crews removed nearly 3,000 tons of debris from affected communities.

With critical services returning, the state began shifting from immediate rescue and response toward the long-term work of rebuilding.
